Jamshedpur, June 5 : All India Sikh Students Federation has written to Colours channel protesting a promo of a new serial �Choti Sardarni� . President of the federation Satnam Singh Gambhir said that the promo of the serial has hurt Sikh sentiments. He said that he written to the channel demanding to scrap the promo.
The serial starts with narrator stating the girl had embraced the five Ks, however the girl�s head is half covered with the scarf and no kirpan is shown. Gambhir said that the channel must take action within 48 hours or else the federation will start a campaign.
The producers have shown a Punjabi girl as a Sikh girl. He expressed disappointment over the promo and the shooting of the promo with a Gurdwara Sahib background
