Promising talents to the fore in Jharkhand Music competition

Jamshedpur: The edifice of socio cultural propagation by projecting the talents of tomorrow, Rabindra Bhawan hosted the Jharkhand Music Competition between December 2 and 9 during which 308 competitors vied for a place under the sun through the exhibition of their talents in the various genres of cultural pursuits.

Tagore Society general secretary, Ashis Chowdhury informed, �The All Jharkhand Music Competition organized at Rabindra Bhawan Auditorium had 308 contestants who displayed their talents in recitation, Rabindra Sangeet, tabla, Kaththak and Bharat Natyam classical dance forms and Hindustani Classical songs.

The competitors were divided into various age groups ranging between five years and 16 years. Their performances were a source of confidence to them and hope amongst connoisseurs.�

Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each section on Wednesday December 12 at the Ravindra Bhawan auditorium at 6:30 pm. The chief guest on the occasion will be Dhalbhum SDO Chandan Kumar. Senior officials of the Tagore Society will also be present on the occasion.
