Jamshedpur: A programme based on Gandhian philosophy was organized at Upgraded Middle School in Salbani and Pareyajuri, Ghatsila, on Tuesday under the aegis of District Information and Public Relations Department.
Various speakers informed the students about the various aspects of Mahatma Gandhi�s life, his role in freedom struggle and his teachings and doctrines.
The school Principal Dhirendra Kumar said Mahatma Gandhi was one of the greatest sons of India who taught truth and non-violence to the world. He appealed to one and all to follow in the footsteps of the great luminary.
A sit and draw competition on Gandhijee and Swachhata was also held on the occasion.
