Jamshedpur: Professor Ashalata, former Head of Department, English, Graduate College, passed away on Saturday. She was one of the founder members of the college. A condolence meet was organized on the college premises by the teachers and other staff. The Principal Dr Satrupa Srivastava was present on the occasion along with Dr Laxmi Jha, Dr Ragini Bhushan, Dr Veena Singh and Dr Nalini Mohanty.
