Jamshedpur: Innovation Research Incubation and Innovation Council Jamshedpur hosted the grand finale of Navishkar 1.0-2023, the Prolam Identification Challenge competition, at Motilal Nehru Public School’s auditorium. Over 100 ideas were submitted nationwide, and after careful evaluation by experts, 9 teams were selected, with 7 teams pitching their ideas in the final round.
This competition was unique as it allowed students from class 8 to graduation and post-graduation to participate, aiming to empower the youth and foster problem-solving skills. The development of an innovation and creativity culture can lead the country towards creating groundbreaking accomplishments.
The winning team, Carbon Sinker from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and the second winning team, Kaizel from Bhatinda, Punjab, were rewarded for their outstanding ideas. Additionally, winning ideas with potential will receive funding and incubation support from I.I.C.
The event featured esteemed guests, including Shreyan Daga, O.L.L. Founder, Shark Tank, Chintan Ojha, Member, S20 Council, Preeti Chowdhary, Founder, Central India Angel, Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Founder, Rajasthan Angel, Prof. Sunil Sarangi from XLRI, Nadeem, Investor, P. from Bengal, Atit Petiyam, and others.
Three schools, DBMS School, Jusco Kashidih High School, and Tata Workers Union High School, were awarded to encourage innovation within the city’s schools. The program concluded with melodious songs by Gurpreet, setting the stage for new possibilities in Jamshedpur Jharkhand’s startup sector.
