Mumbai, Dec 12 (IANS) Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra slips into the role of a glamorous cabaret dancer named Nandita for Yash Raj Films’ “Gunday”.
“Gunday”, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, also features Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. They play the rough-and-tough Bikram and Bala respectively.
While recreating the authenticity of Calcutta (now Kolkata) of the 1970s, Zafar also introduces the audience to the then prevalent world of cabaret dancing via Priyanka’s character.
“Gunday”, which also has versatile actor Irrfan Khan, is slated to release worldwide Feb 14, 2014.
The film’s trailer, which will premiere at Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) Friday, will be available later on the yrf YouTube Channel.
