President to lay foundation of Rabindra Bhawan, Haj House in Ranchi today

Ranchi, April 1: President Pranab Mukherjee landed in Ranchi on late Saturday evening. He will visit Deogarh tomorrow where he will inaugurate the National Skill Exhibition (NSE), Driver Training Institutes (DTIs) and 31 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK). The President will also lay the foundation stone for building two new DTIs at Deogarh and Ranchi.

President Mukherjee will lay the foundation stone of Rabindra Bhawan and Haj House at Ranchi on Sunday. President Mukherjee will visit the temple town of Deoghar.

On his arrival in Deoghar, the President will offer puja at Baidyanath Dham temple, before inaugurating the solar light project along the 44 km stretch between Deoghar and Basukinath, in Dumka district.

Mukherjee will also lay the foundation stone of the highly ambitious centre of Software and Technology Park of India (STPI) at Jasidih, apart from the laying the foundation of a hospital of Employees state insurance corporation at Karon block of Deoghar district. The President will also inaugurate a Heavy Vehicle Training Centre in Deoghar and Godda.

“The launch of 31 multi-skill Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras is a historical move as it will cater to needs of youngsters from Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Rajasthan, J&K, Telangana, Karnataka, Chhatisgarh, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

“These Kaushal Kendras will be a model centres for training and skilling youths to make them employable,” an official statement said.

On April 3rd the President will visit Vikramshila University Monuments and Museum at Vikramshila, and before returning to the national capital, he will also visit Guru ShyamaCharanLahiriPeeth, Gurudham-Bounsi.
