Jamshedpur, Dec 27: Ahead of the proposed visit of the President of India, Droupadi Murmu to Jamshedpur on December 29, the district administration has completed all necessary preparations.
In this connection, a comprehensive briefing of magistrates, police officers and police personnel was held at the JRD Sports Complex, jointly chaired by District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi and Senior Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey today.
Addressing the officers during the briefing, the DC said that the President’s programme is of the highest importance and involves strict protocol.

He directed all officers and personnel to discharge their duties with complete dedication, discipline and coordination.
Emphasising that there should be no lapse at any level, he instructed officials to ensure flawless compliance with protocol, security arrangements, punctuality and inter-departmental coordination.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed review of arrangements related to the programme venue, route line, airport/helipad, residential area, public meeting venue, parking facilities and emergency management.

He directed all concerned officers to remain present at their designated locations well in advance and carry out final inspections of arrangements within the stipulated time.
Speaking on security preparedness, SSP Piyush Pandey stated that ensuring the security of the President and maintaining law and order are the topmost priorities.
He made it clear that no negligence in security arrangements would be tolerated.
All police officers were instructed to perform their duties with utmost alertness, discipline and coordination, strictly adhering to prescribed protocols.
The SSP issued directions for effective implementation of route line clearance, anti-sabotage checks, CCTV surveillance, traffic management and route diversions, pass systems and intelligence inputs.
He also stressed strict compliance with the prescribed dress code and protocol by all deployed police personnel.
To handle any exigency, control rooms, quick response teams and medical emergency units will remain fully operational, with continuous coordination among all concerned departments.
It was also directed during the briefing that traffic management plans and information on alternative routes would be widely disseminated through the media to ensure minimal inconvenience to the general public.
Senior magistrates, police officers and officials from concerned departments were present in the meeting.
Earlier in the day, senior district officials inspected the programme venue, airport and the entire route line to review arrangements on the ground and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers.
