Pankaj Tibrewal Invited to Attend Pran-Pratishtha Yagna of Shri Lakshminarayan Temple

Jamshedpur, June: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has formally invited Pankaj Tibrewal, the Resolution Professional (RP) appointed by NCLAT for the bankrupt Cable Company, to attend the Pran-Pratishtha Yagna of Shri Lakshminarayan on July 7, 2024. The ceremony will be held at the Shri Lakshminarayan Temple (Birla Mandir) located on the Cable Company premises.

In his invitation letter, Saryu Roy informed Pankaj Tibrewal about the renovation work being undertaken at the temple. The structure of the Shri Lakshminarayan Temple had become dilapidated over the years due to the construction work being halted by the company approximately 30 years ago. Over time, the premises became overgrown with bushes and small trees, posing a risk of collapse.

Recognizing the danger, Roy took the initiative to renovate the temple. The renovation is currently in progress, and the idol of Lakshminarayan is scheduled to be installed in the temple on July 7. Saryu Roy reminded Tibrewal that the grand temple project was originally initiated by the Indian Cable Company but was abandoned due to financial difficulties.

He requested Tibrewal’s support in completing the renovation, noting that significant work remained to restore the temple to its former glory. The sanctum sanctorum, gopuram, and stairs have already been repaired to facilitate the idol’s consecration.

Additionally, Roy has informed Akhilesh Srivastava, an advocate representing the company’s workers in an NCLAT case, about the invitation and has appointed him as the legal advisor for the Shri Lakshminarayan Temple Restoration Committee. Srivastava has accepted this role.
