Jamshedpur, April 30: Class 4 students of Little Flower School (LFS) celebrated Prakriti Utsav. The aim of the event was to create awareness among students about the importance of preserving nature and to encourage them to take small steps towards a sustainable future.
The day started with the formation of a leaf stalk by the students.
The tiny hands tried out landscaping with ecobricks. Ecobricks are plastic bottles filled with non-biodegradable waste that are used as building blocks. This activity helped the students understand the importance of waste segregation and reusing plastic bottles that would ultimately end up in landfills.

The highlight of the celebration was group activities where all the students of Class 4 were divided into 3 groups that either wrote slogans or painted keyrings or made sashes. Learning by doing enhanced their artistic skills.

The Signature Pledge involved the staff members taking an oath to nurture nature.
The day ended with an exhibition cum sale of several natural and handmade products.
The students were thrilled to take home a bamboo toothbrush each as a gift.
Prakriti Utsav was a great success that actively involved the students and the staff members. Little Green Gurus of Class 4 are now environmentally conscious citizens.
