Chaibasa, Jan. 16: The birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh was celebrated by the Sikh community of Chaibasa on Saturday.
A large number of Sikh devotees assembled to offer their prayer to the tenth Guru Guru Gobind Singh at the Chaibasa Station Road Gurudwara.
Devotional songs related to Guru Gobind Singh were sung during the prayer meets. The Sikh devotees of the region were seen in a state of divine ecstasy on the occasion.
One of the Sikh devotee Gurumukh said that they have organized a big langer (holy feast) every year and provided food and Prasad to thousands of people on the occasion at the venue.
He further mentioned that they have arranged big feast for the people on Saturday too.
