Jamshedpur, Oct. 22:Badminton Association of India has nominated Prabhakar Rao, honorary secretary of Jharkhand Badminton Association, as observer for upcoming East Zone Inter State team and Individual Badminton Championship 2016, to be held at Darbhanga, Bihar.
East zone will start from 25th October, 2016 and the final matches will be played on October 28.
Total 6 East Zone teams namely Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand and West Bengal will participate in this championship.
Earlier also the Badminton Association of India has nominated Prabhakar Rao as observer in many national and international badminton tournaments.
Rao who has good technical knowledge, had been nominated as observer in many big and prestigious tournaments.
