Ranchi: Members of Jharkhand Power Supply Technical Labourers Association today gheraoed the office of Ranchi Area office of Jharkhand State Electricity Board to protest franchise-based system of power supply as proposed to be implemented in Ranchi and Jamshedpur.
They went to the GM office marching all the way from Kusai Colony under the leadership of Ajay Rai. The procession culminated at the GM�s office where the outfit members sat on dharna raising slogans against the franchise system. The agitators demanded regularization of temporary staff among other demands.
