Jamshedpur, May 7: Utkramit Madhya Vidhyalaya in Tangrain, Potka organised Kaho Pahada (say multiplication table) on Saturday.
At the contest 42 students read the multiplication table upto 20 to win Bahubali 2 movie tickets. The contest was held on the initiative of teacher Arvind Tiwary who had asked the students a week back to read the multiplication table upto 20 and the students were told about city tour and Bahubali 2 movie tickets as gifts. The winner students will be shown the block buster movie on May 14.
On the occasion teacher Arvind Tiwary said, we are bring in several new things to help students learn language capabilities and mathematical pragmatism. ‘Soon parents of the students will also be involved in the this process of teaching and learning and a multiplication table rally will also be taken out’, said Tiwary, adding, ‘we have a set a target of June 30 to help teach all the students the multiplication table upto 20’.
Present on the occasion were School development committee president Singrai Majhi, Mangal Pan, Babulal Sardar, Mogla Majhi, Ujjwal Mandal, Subol Das, Rajaram, Principal Shyamkant Thakur, Amal Dixit, Vishwajeet Sardar, Sanat Mandal, Sumita Munda, CRP Vidya Mandal and others.
