Potka MLA inaugurates Snan Ghat

Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Menka Sardar and Zila Parishad member Chandrawati Mahato jointly laid the foundation stone of Snan Ghat in Chhota Amda village of Sangram panchayat in Potka block on Sunday. The project would be completed at an expense of Rs 8 lakh approximately.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA said the state government was committed to develop the village. She said the villagers should select the development schemes on their own and inform the public representatives. She said slackness in development works will not be tolerated.

Chandrawati Mahato said the villagers should monitor the progress of development projects and complain to public representatives in case they face any hassles.
Many villagers were present on the occasion. They included Rukmini Murmu, Sanat Kumar, Sunil Mahato, Prahlad Bhanj, Ashutosh Das, Santosh Bhanj, Pintu Sarangi and Nayan Mahapatra.
