Poster making competition marks Aids Day

Jamshedpur, Dec. 1: NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of Karim City College observed World Aids Day on Thursday, December 1.

On the occasion NSS volunteers organised a poster making competition among the students. The theme of the competition was ‘Aids’ through which students were made aware of the ille effects of the disease and how to prevent it.

At the event NSS Programme Officer Anwar Ali gave a short speech on the causes and how to prevent aids.

Total of 30 students participated in the competition where Kajal Verma was declared the winner followed by Ekta Kumari and Amit Kumar.

To make the programme successful Syed Sajid Parwez and NSS volunteers Pragya Singh, Aman Raj, Anmol played a vital role.
