Jamshedpur, April 23: A poster-making competition was organised at Excel India Model School on the occasion of World Earth Day, with students actively participating in creative activities focused on environmental awareness.
Students designed posters on themes such as conservation of nature, pollution control, recycling, protection of natural resources, and tree plantation. Through their artwork, they highlighted the importance of keeping the Earth green and promoting sustainable practices.
On the occasion, students also took a pledge to protect the environment and contribute towards a cleaner and greener planet. Principal Mamta Kumari appreciated the efforts and creativity of the students and spoke about this year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet.”
Teachers, staff, and students were present during the programme, making it a meaningful and awareness-driven event.
