Seraikela: Heavy rains on Friday resulted in water-logging at various places in Seraikela municipal area.
This led to clogging of drains at several places. Garbage was seen floating on roads and also accumulated at places. Due to irregular cleaning of drains and improper drainage of rainwater, many localities have turned into hellholes.
Local residents alleged that municipal authorities concerned had turned a blind eye to their problems. They demanded that the drains should be cleaned on a regular basis so that clogging of water does not take place.
