Jamshedpur: Sonari Airport witnessed a spurt in political activities on Sunday as several politicians including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, former CM Arjun Munda, former Bharatiya Janata Party president Venkaiyah Naidu and others arrived here to participate in election campaign. Naidu was accompanied by Munda.
He arrived here around 4.35 pm and left after spending time for 15 minutes. The CM arrived at the airport with Savita Mahato, wife of former deputy CM late Sudhir Mahato by helicopter. Both went to Mosabani for campaigning.
The Congress candidate from Ranchi Subodhkant Sahay also arrived at Chandil. He left for Ranchi with the CM.
The CM was accompanied by Niroop Mohanty, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha�s candidate from Jamshedpur seat. Arjun Munda returned after campaigning in Palamu.
