Jamshedpur, March 27: A group of people reportedly attacked a team of Sakchi PS officials on Wednesday when the latter had gone to arrest the accused of a fraud case.
Sources said the police team had got a tip-off about certain people duping unemployed youths in the name of interviewing them for jobs near Aam Bagan. When police team reached the venue, the recruiters allegedly attacked cops.
Three cops were injured in the incident. Later, reinforcement was sent from Sakchi PS. Eight persons including women were arrested in connection with the incident.
