Jamshedpur: Sundernagar police took into custody a man, identified as Javed Ahmad, a native of Sitamarhi (Bihar) and reportedly missing for the last 15 days, from Goradih on Saturday.
They said the man, mentally unstable, was taken into custody while going towards Narwa. The man was spotted by local villagers as he walked on foot in the rains.
Already alert after recent lynching incidents, cops rushed to the spot and brought the man to the police station. The man�s kin were informed about his whereabouts.
They said they had taken him to Ranchi for treatment many a times. The man often runs away from the hospital, they told police.
