Gamharia, Nov 19: A pickup van stolen from the vicinity of Bharat Petrol Pump in Chhota Gamharia was recovered by a police team led by SDPO Rakesh Ranjan. Two accused Birendra Mahto of Itagarh and Premchand Mahto of Govindpur in Rutadih.
An FIR was lodged and based on the report, the SP formed a team under SDPO Rakesh Ranjan and investigation was launched. The two arrested persons, on questioning, acknowledged the crime and based on their information the police team recovered the stolen vehicle along with a 12 V battery and two mobile phones. The raiding team included Gamharia PS OC Krishna Murari, Trainee ASI Ritesh Kumar, Kumar Gautam, Chandan Kumar, Raj Kumar Ram, ASI Ajit Munda and other armed police personnel.
