Gamharia: A vehicle inspection drive was launched by Seraikela-Kharsawan district police at Adityapur-Kandra main road in Chhota Gamharia on Thursday.
Many vehicles were seized. Traffic police officials issued warning to first-timers and released the vehicles later.
They said the main purpose of the drive was to tighten noose around traffic violators. The drive would continue for next several days, they said.
It has been ordered by the superintendent of police of Seraikela-Kharsawan Madan Mohan Lal.
