Jamshedpur, July 11: BJP workers and activists blocked Mango Dimna Road for over an hour on Saturday morning after a police guard at State Bank of India (Mango Branch) slapped BJP Mango Mandal President Rajesh Kumar Singh following an argument.
The road adjoining the National Highway-33 saw number of trucks being stuck making life difficult for the commuters.
Seeing the situation getting worse, Rural SP Shailendra Sinha jumped into action and after
the Bank’s police guard was made to apologize by the activists and SP then only the matter settled down and the hour long blockade was removed.
