Police foil loot plan in Jamshedpur, arrest youth with firearms

Jamshedpur, Mar 5: Birsanagar police on Friday nabbed a youth Vikash Gope possessing a pistol and live cartridges. 

According to Birsanagar thana OC, Rajesh Kumar Jha, they had got a tip off that youths were making a plan to loot and snatch passersby and they raided the D Block and caught hold of one year while others two managed to flee. The youth identified himself as Vikash Gope and confessed that the youths who fled were Sumit Mishra and Anil Mukhi and that they were hatching a plan to loot when the police raided.

Police managed to find the bike of Sumit Mishra on the confession of Vikash Gope. Sumit Mishra is a resident of Vidyapati Nagar in Sidhgora while Anil Mukhi is a resident of Birsanagar Block Number 3 and a case under Arms Act has been lodged against the three of them. 

Police are trying to gather criminal records of the  three youths and claimed that the firing incident at Baridih market was done by Vikash Gope and his friends and was done by Vikash Gope after drinking liquor to spread havoc among residents.

The arresting was done at Dungri Pahar area and a bike used in the crime was also recovered along with arresting of Vikash Gope.
