Jamshedpur, Sep 12: Regularly getting information about the youth unlawfully consuming alcohol at several parks, food joints and around the lakes of the city today conducted raid at Jubilee Park and Lake of Steel city which created rush among the teenagers and several office personnel who after work enjoy the evening out there.
A team headed by ADM Law & order Ajit Shankar, SDO Prem Ranjan, trainee IPS officer Neha Arora, Assistant commissioner Excise department Rakesh Kumar and DSP C Kerketta along with several police personnel conducted raids but returned empty handed as the youth ran away from the scene.
Appreciating the police action, several families present at the park said that it’s a good signal for the society as there is an urgent need to rein in the wanton behaviour of rowdy youths who create ruckus at family places.
