Jamshedpur, Jan 1: Despite several measures being taken by district administration and police officials to stop use of liquor in the open and public places the restrictions were overlooked as several families and men were seen enjoying the liquor in the open on first day of the year.
On Jan 1, 2014 police officials while patrolling cracked down on couple of men consuming alcohol at Dimna Lake. When the police tried to take away the stuffs the wives of the men started abusing the police and started fighting.
