Police complaint against Kangana Ranaut in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov. 13: In protest against statement made by film actress Kangana Ranaut on Nation’s freedom, All India Sikh Students Federation, Eastern India president Satnam Singh Gambhir has filed a police complaint against the actress at Sakchi police station. The youth has demanded legal action against the actress. In a letter to the officer incharge, the federation leader demanded an FIR against her and strict action to be taken.   

Federation has also sent a legal notice to her asking her to withdraw her statement and apologise to the nation.  The notice has been sent through Jharkhand High Court advocate Diwakar Upadhyay.

Gambhir has protested against the actress’s statement that in 1947, the country got freedom through begging, the real freedom was found in 2014. Gambhir said that the statement is an insult to thousands of martyrs including Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru Sukhdev, who sacrificed their life to make the country free. Kangana should apologise to the whole country within 15 days and if she does not take back her statement, then a complaint will be lodged against her through Jharkhand High Court advocate Diwakar Upadhyay.
