Jamshedpur: Harish Singh, accused in the gang-war case in Sitaramdera police station area Bhuiyandih, is still absconding three months after the incident. The police have not even taken attachment action to pressurize him for the arrest. There are more than two dozen criminal cases against Harish Singh. His anticipatory bail from the District Court has also been dismissed.
He is a close henchman of gangster Akhilesh Singh in Dumka jail. Dedicated charges against 12 of his gang members including Kallu Rai of Sudhir Dubey gang and Kanhaiya Singh’s henchmen Anil Singh, Rajkumar Mandal, Vinod Singh, Sachin Mishra, Durga Rao, Mintu Singh have been charged. Seven people including Akhilesh Singh’s friend Kanhaiya Singh were injured in the gang war. Police have arrested 29 people of Sudhir and Akhilesh Singh henchmen and sent them to jail.
