Jamshedpur: Acting on a tip-off Police nabbed kingpin of an inter-state vehicle theft gang, identified as Khalid Naim, who operates an eatery at Sakchi, from near Marine Drive along with a stolen car and recovered country made revolver and a live cartridge.
Police today recovered a stolen SUV from a garage in Mango. Jamshedpur city SP, Prabhat Kumar informed media that Khalid had earlier been in jail in Gaya (Bihar) and Barbil (Odisha) on cases of stealing vehicles and has confessed to be involved in several other vehicle stealing cases in different parts of Jharkhand and used to sell the parts of the garages.
