Seraikela: Police arrested a 19 year-old woman, identified as Parwati Kumari alias Benoti alias Shyam Kumari, in connection with several crimes committed by her as a member of the local Naxalite squad from RIT police station area on Monday.
The superintendent of police (SP) of Seraikela-Kharsawan Rakesh Bansal said the arrested woman had confessed her involved in several crimes committed by her against police in Kharsawan, Kuchai, Arki, Tamar and Chowka police station areas.
�The accused was arrested from Mirudih village under RIT police station area. We had got a tip-off about her being present in the village,� said the SP.
Police conducted a raid in the village jointly with CRPF jawans and arrested the woman from her residence.
