Police arrest two in Jemco robbery case, recover three motorcycles

Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Cracking the Jemco robbery case Police arrested Chandan Ghosh resident of Jemco Azad Basti and Raja Mahapatra of RIT Nirudih on Monday, Feb 17. It may be noted that both the accused looted Mohammed Irfan, resident of Jugsalai near Machua Basti, Jemco at around 10.20 pm on Feb 13.

Informing about the case, SSP Amol V Homkar said that we have recovered goods and three motorcycles from Chandan and Raja and one motorcycle is in burnt condition. Talking to the media persons at his office on Monday, SSP added that several cases have been registered against Chandan Ghosh at Bistupur, Sakchi and Golmuri Police Stations. There have been cases also registered against Raja Mahapatra at Bagbera and Tatanagar Railway P.S and both have behind behind bars.

The case no 74/14 is registered at Telco Police Station. SSP further said that Golmuri P.S Incarge Mohammed Nelauddin, Telco P.S Incharge Kameshwar Pandey and Govindpur P.s Incharge Nandkishore Shah jointly carried out the operation and arrested both the accused.
