Jamshedpur: Seraikela police arrested one Raju Lohar, an alleged contract killer, during anti-crime checking near main road in Rajnagar under Seraikela Sadar police station area on Tuesday.
They seized a country-made pistol with a bullet from the possession of the accused. The SP of Seraikela-Kharsawan Madan Mohan Lal said Lohar was involved in contract killing in the district.
He said the accused had confessed to having planned killing of several political leaders of Adityapur.
He said an investigation was on to find out further details of Lohar�s plans and recent criminal activities.
