
Jamshedpur: �Police on Thursday arrested one more youth and recovered a country-made pistol by raiding his house at Baikunth Nagar under Mango thana area. Police have so far arrested a total number of a three involved in firing incident.�The arrested youth identified as Pavan Yadav (24) is one of the members of a gang of criminals three of which had opened fire at a team of four policemen at Baikunth Nagar Wednesday. Deputy superintendent of police (headquarters-I), Pawan Kumar said that they have arrested Pavan Yadav with a country-made pistol, he was not involved in the gun-shot attack on the police party on Wednesday wee hours.
“We have made breakthrough and arrested Pavan Yadav as he is also a member of the gang which had fired on the police party. He was not with the other gang members who had fired at the police. One more person, Rahul Singh, who is the main accused in the case is still absconding. We are trying to arrest him,” said Kumar while talking to the newsmen while addressing the media.
According to sources, Rahul Singh along with Suraj and Sunny had on Tuesday night fired at the house of one Vikram Thakur due to rising differences.
The differences had cropped at due to anmity between Amar Thakur, who is brother of Vikram Thakur and one Pradeep Singh, who is also a criminal having close association with Rahul Singh.
