PNB lauds Adhunik’s Village Skill Development

Jamshedpur, July 24 : Punjab National Bank (PNB) in a proposition of alliance with the Adhunik Group’s Village Skill Development scheme conducted a schematic survey on Tuesday in the areas of operation of the project in & around Gamharia.

In a meeting attended by director of PNB’s rural self employment training institute Surendra Kr. Singh, Bhisen Savaiyan, Manager of PNB Kandra branch, COO of Adhunik alloys & power ltd.

Harprit Singh, head of CSR Rajesh Ranjan all matters pertaining to the working of the CSR project were
tabled.

COO Singh said,”Under the village skill development project several groups are training local girls & women to make them capable for self employment.

So far 25 women have been given certificates for the beautician course and all have been able to earn a
respectable earning.

We are grateful to the Adhunik team for its effort.” Soon after the meeting, the team surveyed working groups like Anand Mahila Samiti’s Phenyl production unit of Bakipur village, project Cyber village of Kandra and Amrit dhara’s community water unit in Gamaria.

The survey team included Rajesh Ranjan, senior manager Ranjit Kr. Sinha, Ajit Kumar, Ramkumar Mahato, Saroj Mahato, Avinash Sharma, Ravi Pandey and Laxmi Devi.
