Ranchi: State Congress president Sukhdev Bhagat today expressed resentment over the inability of the Prime Ministers office to give appointment to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to meet PM Narendra Modi.
He said it was unfortunate and an insult of the people of Jharkhand. Addressing scribes, he said the PM and other leaders of the BJP had made big promises to the people of the state before Lok Sabha elections.
He said the PMs visit was not going to be beneficial for the state as claimed by the BJP leaders.
Bhagat said the BJP had promised to bring back the black money belonging to the country deposited in overseas banks within 100 days of coming into power at the Centre.
He said the government had done nothing to bring back the black money in the country. He later accused the BJP of trying to claim credit for the Power Grid project at Bero which was started during the tenure of the UPA-led government.
He further said that the UPA government had started the work of Jammu-Katra railway line and INS Kolkata projects.
