Jamshedpur: The Divisional Level ‘PMFME Mahotsav’ is set to take place in East Singhbhum district from March 23-24, 2025. The grand two-day festival, organized at Gopal Maidan, will be inaugurated by the Minister of Industry, Labor, Planning, Training, and Skill Development Department, Jharkhand Government, Sanjay Prasad Yadav, on March 23.
In preparation for the event, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan conducted an inspection of the venue. Accompanying them were GM DIC Ravi Shankar Prasad, DTO Dhananjay, and other officials. The authorities closely reviewed various arrangements, including stage construction, seating for visitors, stall setup, parking facilities, traffic management, and overall law and order maintenance. Necessary guidelines were provided to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal highlighted the significance of the ‘PMFME Mahotsav.’ He emphasized that the event aims to showcase various funded units under the Prime Minister Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme. These enterprises will display their products, providing them with a platform to expand their reach.
During the inauguration, the Minister will address attendees, shedding light on the importance of promoting small entrepreneurs engaged in unorganized food processing businesses. The PMFME scheme provides financial, technical, and business assistance to micro food processing enterprises, helping them develop, expand, and upgrade their operations.
