Jamshedpur, September 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off 11 Vande Bharat Express trains simultaneously from Tatanagar Railway Station on Sunday, September 15. The new services will include Tata-Patna, Rourkela-Howrah, and Tata-Berhampur Vande Bharat Express under the South Eastern Railway.

Other Vande Bharat Express trains he will flag off will include Berhampur-Tatanagar, Deoghar-Varanasi, Nagpur-Secunderabad, Agra Cantt-Banaras, Raipur-Visakhapatnam, Gaya-Howrah, Bhagalpur-Howrah, Pune-Hubli, and Varanasi-Deoghar. These trains will enhance connectivity and boost travel efficiency across various regions.

Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager of South Eastern Railway, visited Tatanagar station on Tuesday to review preparations for the event. Speaking to journalists, he confirmed that the Prime Minister will use a remote button and a green flag to launch the 11 trains from platform one.
During his visit, PM Modi will also interact with students from Kendriya Vidyalaya and address local residents from the station premises. His program, expected to last about 60 minutes, will conclude with a roadshow in Bistupur and a BJP event at Gopal Maidan.
SPG to take control of Tatanagar Station prior to PM’s visit
Jamshedpur, September 11: Security measures at Tatanagar Railway Station have been significantly tightened in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s engagement there. The Special Protection Group (SPG) will take control of platform number one starting from September 11.
Passenger movement will be restricted during this period, with alternate arrangements made for entry and exit via the RMS building, foot overbridge, and second entry point to minimize disruptions.
Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to Visit Tatanagar on September 14
Jamshedpur, September 11: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will arrive at Tatanagar on September 14 prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. During his visit, he will review development works and participate in the main program.
On Tuesday, Ved Prakash, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Railway Minister, visited the station to assess the preparations. He held discussions with senior railway officials, including South Eastern Railway General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra and Chakradharpur Division DRM Arun J Rathore.
