Jamshedpur, Feb 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a new MEMU train service from Tatanagar to Badampahar and back on March 1, bringing significant changes to the South Eastern Railway operations and offering improved connectivity for local passengers.
The inaugural ceremony will take place at Tatanagar Railway Station at 11 am. The Tatanagar-Badampahar-Tatanagar MEMU train will commence its operations on March 1, with the first journey departing from Tata at 11 am and arriving at Badampahar at 2.05 pm on the same day. Regular services will begin from March 2, with the train departing from Tata at 6 pm and reaching Badampahar at 9.05 pm. The return journey from Badampahar will commence at 9.15 pm, arriving at Tata at 11.30 pm on the same day.
The MEMU train will make stops at ten stations after departing from Tata, with exceptions for two stations on the route originating from Badampahar.
