Modi, Rahul Gandhi, and Top Leaders Extend Holi Greetings

New Delhi (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi extended warm Holi greetings to the nation on Wednesday, calling for prosperity, unity, and joy.

PM Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to wish fellow citizens a life filled with “the colours of happiness, prosperity, and success.” Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi celebrated the festival of colours with party workers and senior leaders at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in Delhi, emphasizing a message of harmony and togetherness.

Government Leaders Highlight Renewal

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared festive messages. The Vice President described Holi as a symbol of the triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring, urging citizens to work toward an “inclusive and peaceful Viksit Bharat.” Home Minister Amit Shah wished for a festival filled with new energy and progress for every individual.

Other prominent leaders joined the chorus:

  • Nitin Gadkari: Prayed that the sacred festival burns away negativity and hatred.
  • Yogi Adityanath: Invoked Lord Shri Ram to bring peace and fresh enthusiasm to the people of Uttar Pradesh.

Festivities at Congress Headquarters The AICC office transformed into a vibrant hub of color as senior leaders like Sachin Pilot, Mukul Wasnik, and Rajeev Shukla joined the celebrations. Supporters noted the significance of Rahul Gandhi’s presence, with spokesperson Supriya Shrinate highlighting the “excitement and joy” he brought to the party workers during the interaction.
