Jamshedpur, August 26: International Human Rights Association (IHRA) during its ongoing environment conservation programme, planted 25 saplings at Kali Mandir premises in Govindpur on Friday.
On the occasion IHRA national vice-president Kamal Akhtar and national general secretary Usha Singh jointly pledged to plant saplings on birthday and also to give it as a gift.
Kamal Akhtar while addressing said, we should learn our relation with the environment and should cahnge our life style for environment conservation.
Usha Singh said, natural resources are not limited to human beings but all the living things in this earth have same right. ‘Environment conservation is not possible only by the government and corporate houses but every human should think of water conservation and planting of trees so that we can return back to the environment for which we are dependent on it.
At the event Afzal Akhtar from Jamshedpur Block, IHRA district president Ashutosh Kumar, Bhusan Singh, Santosh, RP Singh, Prabha Tiwary, Malti Devi, Ranjana, Shobha and others were present.
