Plantation drive at Manifit

Jamshedpur: A plantation programme was organized by Muskan, a city-based NGO, at community development building, Manifit, in collaboration with Manifit Rajak Samaj.

The outfit members said the purpose of the programme was to protect the environment and give a message to everyone to plant more trees to maintain ecological balance.

The chief guest of the occasion was Raghuvar Das, MLA of Jamshedpur East. He praised the efforts of the organizers and asked them to keep up the good work.

Zila Parishad member Rajkumar Singh was also present during the programme. He said everyone should plant trees around their houses to save the environment.

Many dignitaries and children were present during the programme. Nandlal Rajak, president of Manifit Rajak Samaj, conducted the programme. A vote of thanks was proposed by Ashok Choudhary.
