Chaibasa, July 19: A plantation drive led by APCCF KK Chaterjee was undertaken on the premises of forest department Chaibasa�on Tuesday.
After the plantation, Chhaterjee said that�the plantation drive is�being undertaken in every district of Jharkhand and a target of planting 3 crore saplings by August has been set as per the direction of the Chief Minister.
In a related issue, Chatterjee said as many as 2000 forest guards will be appointed very soon and their training will be held in Chaibasa, Ranchi and Hagzaribagh.
The forest officers who took part in the plantation drive were DFOs, CCF, and rangers of West Singhbhum district.
