Ranchi, March 18: Several programs will be implemented under the guidance of the Niti Aayog for consistent development of the nation during 2016.
In order to review the Millennium Development Goal, MDG, MPSU, SAIL and planning and finance department are organizing workshops in four phases so that up- to-date area-wise condition of indexes can be determined and to ensure that focus is on the areas that have been neglected.
On the basis of reports received from districts in the commissioner-level workshops, a referral on the condition of Millennium Development Goal on state-level is currently underway.
The components of Millennium Development Goal include eradication of poverty and impoverishment; accessible primary education; gender equality and women empowerment; decrease in the death rate of children; improvement of mother’s health; control of AIDS/HIV, malaria and TB; development of environment and increasing global participation.
