Jamshedpur, Jan 23: A placement drive was organized at Jamshedpur Women’s University for the students of B.Sc (PCM) pass students. A total of 35 students participated in the placement session and 15 of them were shortlisted for final round. Those selected would be given offer letters by Vedanta Group, Odisha. The University Placement Coordinator Dr Ratna Mitra and her team coordinated with the representatives of Vedanta Group during the drive on Friday and Saturday.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Anjila Gupta said, “Jamshedpur Women’s University is committed to ensure a bright career and better future of its students. We are seeking better placement opportunities for the students during their studies as the demand for women employees has risen in every field. Those selected would get immediate benefit. Even if they do not take up the jobs, they would be able to understand the skill needs of companies. This is a practical training just like skill development.”
