Jamshedpur, Feb. 8: In a major reshuffle of IAS officers across the state, Jharkhand government here on Thursday appointed Pramod Kumar Gupta, DC of Latehar, as the new Commissioner of Kolhan.
DDC Suraj Kumar of Jamshedpur has been made the DC of Khunti. The Kolhan Commissioner Brij Mohan Prasad has been made the Managing Director of Jharkhand State Housing Board. Khunti DC Manish Ranjan has been shifted to the Tourism, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department. Khunti DDC Mrityunjaya Barnwal has been made the DC of Bokaro with additional charge of JIADA. Bokaro DC Rai Mahimapat Ray has been made the DC of Ranchi while Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar has been sent to Giridih.
