11 days package to cost Rs 9,900 per passenger

Jamshedpur, July 24 : Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on Wednesday announced a package for a 11-days trip for Indian Railway’s Aastha Circuit special train which till take travellers to various religious destinations.
Manish Kumar, a senior official of IRCTC said the train- Bharat Darshan- with 15 coaches� will chug off on religious journey from Dumka on August 12. The train with sleeper class facility (non-AC) will reach Tatanagar on the same day at 4.10 pm.
The train will cover Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar, Dwarka, Somnath , Ujjain and Omkareshwar. The other boarding stations in South Eastern Railway zone includesPurulia, Asansol, Sini, Rourkela and Jharsuguda.
“Tourists can book their package from IRCTC website. The train will accommodate 700 passengers, who can book their package for 12 nights and 11 days,” said the official. The package is of Rs 900 per passenger per day. For 11 days the package will cost Rs 9,900 per passenger.
He said that those interested in travelling on the train can also book their tickets offline at the Jan Aahar, the catering unit of IRCTC at Tatanagar railway station.
Another IRCTC official said that vegetarian food would be served to the travellers in breakfast, lunch and dinner. The package also covers travel insurance for the travellers, he said adding that proper safety and security of passengers would be taken care of on board the train.
The official said that the Astha Circuit Train is providing cheap and accessible tour packages for the tour of the country’s major pilgrimages, the package includes food and lodging.
The package also includes night stay at railway dormitories wherever required and sightseeing in non-AC buses. Besides, under the package, the tourists and devotees will also be provided with pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner.
