Jamshedpur, Nov 28: The distribution of photo voter slips has begun in Ghatsila and Mosabani blocks in view of the upcoming state Asesmbly elections. The booth level officers of Ghatsila distributed photo voter slips cum invitation letters in their respective areas. They requested voters to visit their respective polling booths on 7th December and exercise their voting rights without fail.
It may be mentioned here that the East Singhbhum administration is leaving no stone unturned to spread voters� awareness in all the six Assembly constituencies of the district. Numerous publicity vehicles have been pressed into service to educate voters and urge them to vote on polling day. The district administration is especially focusing on first-time voters to maximize the overall voting percentage.
In Mosabani, there are a total of 1215 differently-abled voters who have been specially invited for polling. At booth number 271, there are 51 such voters, sources said.
The BDO said a Divyang Rath (vehicle for differently-abled) has been arranged for such voters so that they may reach polling booth and return home conveniently on the day of polling.
