Jamshedpur, Nov 28: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Returning Officer Ravi Shankar Shukla convened a meeting of all election officials of six Assembly constituencies of the district on Thursday. He discussed various issues related to election preparations and monitoring of campaigning and expenditure by candidates.
Shukla asked all officials to ensure cent per cent distribution of photo voter slips and vigilance of webcasting. He said Booth App and Queue Management App should be used effectively to ensure hassle-free polling. He said the officials should ensure that maximum number of voters exercise their voting rights this election.
The DC issued instructions to election officials to ensure that polling duty personnel are able to cast their votes through postal ballot facility. He said necessary arrangements should be made in time to ensure timely departure of polling parties.
