Jamshedpur, April 30: Sheyn International School organised badminton tournament with great pomp & show at Mohan Ahuja Stadium. The students showed their mental toughness & shuttling skills. The most electrifying match was held between Sameer and Aniket in the senior boys’ singles category and the senior boys doubles finals between the team Unicorn House and Pegasus House.
The overall champion were Phoenix House & Runner Up were the Pegasus House. The best Shuttler in the Junior boys category was Md. Zulfikar (Pegasus House) and in Junior girls Adhya Singh (Pegasus House). The best boy & girl shuttler in the senior category was Sakshi Choudhary (Griffin House) & Aniket Prakash (Phoenix House).
The children were awarded with trophies & medals.
The guest of honour for this event was Avinash Singh, Chairman, Sheyn International School, Jamshedpur and Sanjay Singh, Director, Sheyn International School, Jamshedpur.
Principal Manuj Sharma and Vice Principal Pushpa Bhalla praised the players for the excellent sportsmanship; they also advised the students about how sport is an essential part of our life.
